Located in the gated-community of Playacar with a lovely 15-20 minute stroll along the ocean to lively Playa del Carmen. You'll pass by gorgeous homes set amongst beautiful gardens, flowers & palm trees as you'll be met by tourists jogging, walking, & riding bikes all with happy faces! (Taxis can be ordered & it's veery easy to get one back to the villa.) This villa is perfect for families or larger groups as each master bedroom offers a spectacular master bathroom which offers all guests a sense of privacy and space. PRIVATE CHEF SERVICES (Breakfast & Lunch Included) We're one of the few villas in the area offering the services of a highly trained Chef who'll impress you with her culinary skills! She specializes in Mexican cuisine yet can also prepare other types of cuisines depending on your tastes, allergies, preferences etc. CHEF SERVICES & MEAL PLANS *Chef will prepare breakfast & lunch each day - 6 days per week. (Dinner is not included. See dinner info below.) *Groceries, grocery delivery (minimal) & gratuities (at your discretion) are extra & paid in USD cash. *A sample menu will be sent to you for menu planning. *Chef can accommodate food allergies & preferences (vegetarian, vegan) etc. *Chef Hours: 9am to 3pm. (Chef takes 1 day off per week; generally this can be planned around your stay when possible.) *Dinner can be arranged if the Chef is available. Rates are in USD and per person below. *Dinner rates: Adults 12 & up: $40. Kids 5-11: $20. Kids under 5: Free. Specialty Menu: $50. Chef offers a speciality menu to choose from. I.E. Your oceanfront tropical paradise awaits you! ______________________________________________________ THINGS WE CANNOT CONTROL *Due to warming ocean conditions, sargassum (a form of algae) may occur in the Mexican Caribbean during the warmer spring & summer months. To date sargassum season has ended for 2023. The government installs barriers during the season to help reduce it & ships are sent out to sea to collect it. On the occasion of sargassum in the sargassum season, the city cleans the beaches to the best of their ability. We have hired a company to come a few times per week to help clean the area in front of the villa. We cannot predict when if & when it will occur & have no control over whether it impacts the beaches or swimming. *Please purchase travel (trip interruption) & medical insurance to protect your vacation. Things happen; illness, job loss, flight cancellations etc. *We cannot refund or credit guests due to the above. Guest access This villa is entirely for your private use. Free parking is available. You will enjoy your own private pool & Jacuzzi with amazing ocean views, private terrace, loungers, private daybed & outdoor lighting & sound system is all for your use & not shared. We have hired a company to come a few times per week to help clean the area in front of the villa. *Chef's Day Off: Chef takes off one day per week. She is generally flexible and she can plan this with you in coordination with the House Manager. As outlined above, snacks, margarita & a complimentary dinner will be provided the first day of your arrival as our gift to you! Housekeeping Daily. (6 days per week.) OTHER THINGS TO NOTE: *Non-smoking villa. Smoking is allowed outside; please ensure the villa doors are all closed. Please use an ashtray; do not leave cigarette butts on the beach. Please see important Things We Cannot Control below before booking. *The Jacuzzi is set for 40C. However, it does take time to warm up. This is not a defect of the Jacuzzi. Ocean winds also plays a part in this. *Rates for 3 bedroom do not apply for holidays: Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas/New Year's. *Max. Occupancy: 8 Adults & 2 children under 12 years of age or under. *No other guests are allowed on the property unless approved. *No parties or receptions unless approved. *As a courtesy, it is customary to tip the chef, the manager & the housekeeper which helps to supplement their salary. We give suggestions in our arrival info as a guide. *We cannot host pets of any kind. *We cannot control weather or beach conditions (sargassum, a form of seaweed or beach erosion all outlined in our main listing.) *We highly suggest that you purchase travel and trip interruption insurance. Things can change & this will protect your investment. The Reef Resort close by offers day passes for a change of scenery. Should you wish to enjoy their services for the day, (9am - 5pm) you can pay a fee to enjoy their pools, water sports activities, open bar & food. Interaction with guests We provide a dedicated manager to greet you & assist you with all aspects of your stay! Consider her your private concierge!
